Eat like an Italian with Cream cheese Cantuccini with Vinocotto and Berries and Cioccolosi

Dessert #1: Cream cheese Cantuccini with Vinocotto (10 minutes) 

Dessert #2: Berries and Cioccolosi

  • 8oz of mascarpone cheese
  • 3 yolks
  • 1 pint of cold heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons of powder sugar
  • 3 tablespoon of regular sugar
  • Vigne Vecchie Cantuccini (for small glass desserts) or Cantuccione (for bigger glass dessert)
  • Vigne Vecchie Vinocotto

In a mixing bowl, using an hand mixer, mix together the egg yolk and the regular sugar for at least 5 minutes (until is nice and fluffy ). Add the mascarpone cheese and mix all together for another couple minutes until it creates an homogeneous cream. 

In a different bowl, whisk together the heavy whipping cream and the powder sugar on high speed until medium to stiff stiff peaks form. 

Add , slowly , the whipped cream in the first bowl . Stir the cream using the “ up and down motion” to incorporate air and keep the cream nice and whipped. 


In a glass serve the cream with the VV cantuccini and finish with a drizzle of VV vinocotto.

Using the same cream and adding two different ingredients we can use our cioccolosi too! 

Dice some fresh strawberries or mix berries. In a glass, layer strawberries, cream and more strawberries. Add the cioccolosi on top and finish with the touch of VV vinocotto. Great for summer and cocktail parties.
